But when she transitioned from bedside nursing to agency ownership, she encountered a frustrating reality: the very systems designed to support care were making it harder to deliver.

I was working as a home care nurse, caring for an elderly man. He was 89 years old. A veteran. A man who had served his country with honor… and now, in the final chapter of his life, he needed care. He had 24-hour caregivers from a non-medical home care agency. On paper, everything looked fine. But in reality… something was deeply wrong.
