From Bedside to Boardroom

With over 25+ years of experience in nursing, Magna spent a quarter century mastering the art of care. She didn’t just read charts but she understood people, their families, and the human side of healthcare that often gets overlooked.

But when she transitioned from bedside nursing to agency ownership, she encountered a frustrating reality: the very systems designed to support care were making it harder to deliver.

She witnessed caregivers burning out under the weight of administrative chaos. She saw agency owners losing sleep over compliance and inefficiencies. And everywhere she looked, there were “SaaS-in-a-box” solutions platforms that seemed more focused on subscriptions than on the seniors and caregivers they were supposed to serve.

That’s when the idea for a better caregiving job application tracking system was born, one built not just on technology, but on real-world experience, empathy, and a deep understanding of care.

The Day Everything Changed 

I was working as a home care nurse, caring for an elderly man. He was 89 years old. A veteran. A man who had served his country with honor… 
and now, in the final chapter of his life, he needed care. He had 24-hour caregivers from a non-medical home care agency. On paper, everything looked fine. But in reality… something was deeply wrong. 

What I Saw Broke My Heart

The caregivers were there...
but they weren’t present.

They sat in the corner, on their phones. There was little communication.
Very little connection.

English wasn’t their first language, and they struggled to engage with him.

And this man—who had once stood strong for his country—now sat in silence.

Disconnected. Frustrated. Unhappy.

And Then I Realized Something

It wasn’t just him.

The caregivers were struggling too.

They weren’t bad people.
They just weren’t equipped.

No training in communication. No guidance. No system to support them.

And in that moment, I felt it clearly:
This system is broken.

The Birth of Something Bigger
